My dad's cooking up about 20 pork steaks and another 10ish chicken breasts as well.

Shouldn't want for meat...

This sounds like a winning idea. I think I'll nix the chili and smoke some meat.

I'll be making my 21-layer dip

KB's "#EBiK 21-Layer Dip" Layer in a deep casserole pan starting with #1. Chill for 1 hour and serve with restaurant style tortilla chips. Touchdown!

1) $100 bills (uncirculated)
2) Mist of olive oil
3) Refried beans
4) Black beans
5) Kidney beans
6) Taco seasoned ground beef
7) Fire-roasted red pepper salsa
8) Colby Longhorn Cheese
9) Guacamole
10) Cheddar cheese
11) Salsa Verde
12) Sour cream
13) Crumbled bacon
14) Sliced jalapenos
15) Chili con queso cheese sauce
16) Minced garlic
17) Sliced green onions
18) Sliced Black olives
19) Diced tomatoes
20) Cream cheese mixed with Tabasco
21) Mist of Tequila

(if you've got people under 21 or a "zero tolerance" rule at your party, you can replace #21 with a mist of lime juice.) BOOM ™

It's supposed to be pretty nice on Saturday (when I'll do the butts) and I'm mostly looking for any excuse I can to use the new Smokey Mountain. That's a hell of a cooker right there.

did you get the 22" version? I have one and love it. I'm doing 70 slabs of baby backs, but only 60 fit in the big smoker, so I'm gonna put 10 on the WSM. It requires racks, but it actually fits 12

How about buying stuff instead of grilling it because as embarrassing as this is I don't really know how to grill...:sulk:

I was going to do some pork butt sliders, buffalo dip, cheese, and beer, but this now looks like a better option.

You're a Jags fan, we don't think any worse of you because of this, in fact, we expected as much. Don't be embarrassed.
