Do you clean up in the kitchen before eating your meal?

I prefer to clean the pots and pans etc. before sitting down to eat. After a meal, the most I want to do is clean my plate off.

What is your experience with this matter?

If you have a wife who does all this, good on you!

Poll to follow.

I DO clean as I go - but the entire clean up will have to wait until I plow whatever it is I'm plowing that night. I'm like Lebron in the kitchen -

LMAO

I'm quick on the clean up and also clean as I go, which goes back to my younger days working in a restaurant.

I do this so I can eat while the food is still hot!

So let's get technical.

Are you saying you cleanup a bit as you go (I do a bit too), or you cleanup EVERYTHING before eating?

I game plan. I have the sink empty and dishwasher empty. Have all my measurements in small dishes, and everything else that needs to be measured ".......measured. As I cook, and use dishes, I just put them in the dishwasher. After dinner, just toss the remaining dishes in there and run it. Boom done.

Makes cooking a lot less chaotic, and when you're done eating, you're done cleaning up as well. I read about this approach in a cooking bookand a few articles. Makes cooking so much more enjoyable.

EVERYTHING, homie. Rinsed out, put away, ready to cook for the next round.

Then, I sits down to eat.

No way I could time that right and not have to nuke my food to warm it back up.

**** no. Sometimes the shit sits around for a week or two before I clean it.

When I need a clean plate, I just wash one from the sink.
