Decent PC speakers, minimal installation/space

looking for some decent speakers for my PC

Don't want a big subwoofer or anything, maybe even wireless.

I'm not an audiophile, just want something functional with no hassle

Are there wireless speakers that use a toggle plug-in like a wireless laptop mouse?

Don't want to have to run wires or make space, just something simple for lazy people.

No useful information, but taking the opportunity to humble brag.

15+ years ago, I took a flyer on a dirt cheap computer speaker set. It was at one of those computer expo things, back when they had those instead of Microcenter and Newegg.

They were Chinese knockoffs of the Bose cubes with the woofer and to pairs of cubes you can rotate for directionality.

Knock on wood, they continue to sound phenomenal to this day. Good stereo separation, decent bass, really clear highs.

If u want any decent sound at all, they'll prolly need their own power supply. And changing batteries in your speakers sounds like a pain in the ass.

If you don't want a sub, just go to newegg and look at 2.0 speakers, and read some reviews.

FWIW I have Klipsch 2.1 speakers and while they were probably a little overpriced, they've run fine for ~10 years.

When I was in highschool, I got a pair of 3 ft tall speakers. One day for no damn reason my neutered cat sprayed all over the mesh on one of them. ****er!
