Does this cable/adapter exist?

I need a cable or adapter that is Female USB to male eSATA .

I can find plenty of Sata to USB or male to male but not female USB to male eSata.

Female USB 3.0 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> eSATA Male

Thanks

USB and eSata aren't electrically compatible. You need an adapter device, not a cable.

Why would you need this?

This is very interesting to me now as I just bought a used Lenovo Ideapad yesterday. Nice freaking laptop. It has an SATA external port.

HDD docking port

I solved my problem by returning the USB only one and getting the more expensive All-in-one version with USB and eSata plug-in.

Nice set-up, but I can't ever see needing this.

yea, but it can deal with everything and you don't have to look around

quick, easy transfer between any pair of devices

also has independent hard drive cloning/duplication

still well under 100 bucks :thumb:
