Rum Punch Recipe

After spending time in Belize I have really enjoyed trying all their different rum punch's over there so I went on the hunt to mix up a good batch. If you want something different over the long weekend, this kicks ass.

¼ cup coconut rum
1.5 cups white rum
2.5 cups pineapple juice
2.5 cups orange juice
¼ cup lime juice

I normally double the recipe and end up with about 3 quarts. If you want to make it red, add 3 tablespoons of grenadine to the recipe. (I skipped this)

Cheers

What if one were to put ice in that and put it in a blender?

3 quarts? You finish that in a day?

Just keep it in the fridge for easy sipping when needed?

I've been mixing Cherry Coke and Sailor Jerry lately. Very nice.

Great thread as I am very fond of Caribbean rum drinks. My favorite comes from the St. John area at the Soggy Dollar bar called the pain killer.

Soggy Dollar Pain Killer Recipe:
2 oz dark rum (I prefer Cruzan)
1 oz cream of coconut
4 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice
Mixing Instructions: Add all the ingredients to mixing glass. Shake well. Pour into glass with ice. Grate fresh nutmeg over the top. Raise glass and toast.

That's about what I'd drink in a day. Needless to say, I've decided it's time for a break!

I can't do spiced rum. Tears my stomach to shreds.

Can shoot 151 straight with no problems.

Is ****ed up.

I just usually mix rum (Capt' Morgan) with fruit punch.

Donger 05-22-2015 06:57 PM

I wouldn't have figured you for a "fruity drink" drinker...

Those of you digging the spiced rum, you should try Kraken.

Well some of us have to work I guess and maybe my quarts conversion is off but that's like 3/4 of a gallon right? I mean......that's heavy.

Dang, that sucks. A friend of mine from work tried Cherry Coke and 151, said it was pretty good.

I have a bottle but drink it rarely. Reminds me of licorice. Love the shape of the bottle though.
