Why do black people cross the street so slow?
I live in north Scottsdale/PV area which is not diverse. I am the first to admit I don't get inner city. On several recent occasions I've had to drive down town for business. Every time I have, including today, I've had to sit at a light waiting to turn because a black person deliberately walked as slow through the intersection as they could. Other people walked by them at a normal pace but they just sauntered. On one occasion the person looked at my car and actually slowed down even more.
What the hell? Am I imagining this or is this some kind of thing? |

The answer is: To let you know who is in charge / to stick it to The Man. I think you've asked this before. I don't think they like you for some reason. |

You're a douche but you aren't dumb. You know this isn't racist. |
We have talked about this before. A friend of mine drives a cab for a living up in Rochester, so he basically drives around the city all day. He says they do seem to do it intentionally.
Maybe it's just a city thing though. |
LMAO It is a thing but I have no idea why.

Happens here all the time.

Happened to me near Quincy/23rd last month. Bad area of town, but it was more than slow jaywalking. They were trying to block me near Ashland Park. Of course, I don't mind running shit over, and they hopped to with a second to impact

It's not a black person thing, it's a young person thing.
I know the mentality. It's a, "**** you, i can do what i want and there ain't shit you can do about it" kinda mentality. Also, the larger the group, the slower it moves. |
Don't wear your hood when you're out driving around....

Or when someone walks down the middle of the lane in a Walmart parking lot.
|
Next time, honk at them, and yell for them to move it.
