Since there was so much debate about who to draft figured this would be a fun thread.

First up Deshaun Watson: 15-for-25 for 179 yards. He also had three carries for 24 yards and a rushing touchdown. He had a sweet rushing TD. Still think he would have been a good fit here.

Also overthrew 2 wide open receivers deep

If you like Smitty than you will like Watson. Very similar

If we win as many games the first 4 years with Mahomes as we have with Smith I'll be thrilled.

Panthers-Texas preseason game is repeating on NFL at 4pm EST today.

I don't care about the numbers as much as how he looked? He was by far the most ready QB in the draft from a mechanical standpoint. His ceiling is one of the lower of the top though.

He's going to look fine in preseason, particularly since O'Brien is babying him along and working in a lot of concepts like moving pocket into the offense so that he's more comfortable.

I'm glad we have the luxury of not doing that with Mahomes. Sitting for a year will allow us to bring him along 100% in the system from day one. No transition shit needed.
