Mom just passed
 

I normallly don't like these kind of sobering threads, and to protect myself, don't usually open them.
But my real mother, died tonight at 11, Colorado time.


I have a show to do for our company in Las Vegas, and can not even get to Denver where my Brother and sisters are.

Business sucks so bad, there is no way I can blow that off. Thought I was prepared, but ****, guess not.

Just setting here drinking Don Julio, reflecting on life.

Sorry to hear that!!! At last report Denver was having a huge snow storm, so you might not be able to make it even if you tried. I'll pray for you and your family!!!!

I'm really sorry to read that, Ed...I'm sure your family understands you're doing all you can and that while you can't be there right now, you'll be there when you can. I'll pray for you.

You only get 1. I lost mine at 21. It's one of the most empty feelings I've ever experienced. I mean it was hollow. And to a point, still is 11 years later.

It's just my opinion here, but personally, if it was me, I would blow it off, regardless of the consequences, IMHO.

I would just hop on a truck and just drive to Colorado, blizzard conditions be damned.
