Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Anybody else watch this? I loved it. Ellie Kemper was fantastic as the lead.

Edit: Just saw that she's from Missouri; love her even more.

Looking forward to season 2.

I watched a bunch of episodes one night, and I need to get back to it. I liked it much more than my wife. The fluctuations between inane goofiness and brilliant social commentary is kind of dizzying, though.

Not just Missouri, she's from KC.

Just until she was 5.

She's 'a' Kemper, as in a Kemper Arena Kemper, and her parents moved to St. Louis when they started a foundation at WashU.

Her co-star on UKS, Jon Hamm was also her HS drama teacher.

So far as the show goes, the Daddy's Boy musical might have been the funniest TV I saw all year.

Haven't finished it yet, but I've enjoyed it. Nice to have some 30 Rock-sequel humor back.

I really liked it. You can really tell that Tina Fey is behind it - her bizarre sense of humor provides for some real "WTF" moments here and there - but overall it's pretty damn entertaining.

Glad to see more Netflix shows really doing well.

Her dad is the Chairman of teh Board for Commerce Bancshares. She went to an Ivy League school and played field hockey. I think she wrote some for The Office.

She's hot, talented, funny, and wealthy? I know she's married and all, but, damn.

I loved this show. It combined the near perfect joke construction of the middle seasons of 30 Rock with a superb cast -- Ellie Kemper was great, and Jon Hamm was an inspired choice for his role. And Carol Kane, Jane Krakowski, and Tituss Burgess were fantastic.

There were a few characters in the back half of the season who were way too broad, but overall Tina Fey did a great job with this.

And, yeah, that Daddy's Boy musical was hilarious.
