So they can't cry foul now when shitty movies like Star Wars gets bad reviews?

Well Rotten Tomatoes is intended to be a resource to find out what critics and viewers are thinking about new movies. Trolling ****s up the sites ability to provide that. This is a pretty obvious move. Go troll on Reddit.

Yep, this doesn't bother me in concept. I'm curious to know if it's ONLY Fandango purchasers who will be verified though. That seems a bit strange and would omit anyone who saw a movie at a non-Fandango theater or someone who purchased at the door. It's also won't account for people who waited to see a flick on video.

We should have never let normal people onto the internet.

I miss the days of honest reviews. Not just for movies but for everything. RT is a joke of a site now and they just remove negative reviews. That site is an advertisement platform, nothing more.
