Say Goodbye to Twinkies and Wonderbread
Sad to see this happen...
Twinkies Maker Hostess Going Out of Business http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/national-...179643161.html |
So these people would rather strike than have a job?
Go Unions! |
Awesome. What better way to pay back unions. You don't have a job, now go **** yourself.

Cut off nose to spite the face.

Shutting down the Emporia plant. The Emporia gazette said there were 400 people working there. Pretty tough for the town. In the last decade or so the town of 30,000 ish has lost Modine, IBP and Dolly Madison.
I think they picked up another dog food plant, but that town has to be hurting. |
what!? no bailout? |

He should change his sign from "On Strike" to "Out of Work" |
I feel some for those people, but how stupid is it to strike for better pay and then put the company out of business in the process?
|
Michelle hated twinkies and cupcakes anyway!
|
I'm pretty confident those well known products and product names will be bought out of bankruptcy by another bakery company and marketed and sold by them. Doubt you've seen your last Twinkie.
|
Glad I haven't eaten anything they make in about 10 years, not going to miss a thing.

The kick off to the official zombie apocalypse...

Well this is headed straight to DC. And I think the unions had little to do with this. Peoples eating habits have gotten better and spelled doom for Hostess. The lack of wage concessions was a bandaid at best.
Like TJ Cinnamons another bad to eat product has gone by the wayside. |
Looks like the parasite killed the host....ess
