It has potential based on the fact that del Toro is directing, and not Michael Bay.

This and Roland Emmerich is nowhere near this movie either.

There's apparently a lot more to it than the trailers are showing. Character stuff.

True, I really am looking forward to seeing what Ron Pearlman's role in the film will be.

I honestly don't understand this.

It is being directed by a person who has an insane passion for this type of genre, and is himself a fantastic talent.

The cgi looks par for the course, and this is definitely a movie that must be seen in theater. If you go in expecting Saving Private Ryan or something deep, then probably skip this. This has giant ****ing robots fighting giant ****ing monsters in cityscapes.

I like Del Toro, and im hoping for the best.....But the movie doesnt look that interesting so far. I also hate the look of it. Its shot all dark and murky. Are there any daytime scenes???

If this takes off, then Japan might make a Gundam movie. ROFL

Since my boy Idris Elba is in it, I'm watching it.

Did I see Treach from Naughty By Nature?

Deberg_1990 06-28-2013 10:40 AM

I read a.story about how this movie is tracking horribly low right now. They said there was more awareness right now for Grown Ups 2 than this. I hope this doesn't flop, but I can see it underperforming.

Does that say more about the state of the US movie going public or the movies themselves?
