The Night Of is a British/American eight-part HBO and BBC Worldwide television miniseries based on Criminal Justice, a 2008–09 British television series.[2] The miniseries was written by Richard Price and Steven Zaillian, and multiple episodes were directed by Zaillian.[3] The Night Of premiered on July 10, 2016.[4][5] The first episode premiered early on June 24, 2016, via HBO on-demand.[6]

Streaming via Roku, Firestick (blech), etc.

Idk, I have Netflix, and Amazon Fire. But if the first episode just started last week. Dvr seemed the way to go. Is Roku a paid service?

I use the HBO Go app on my TV.

I Tivo'd it and watched it last night. Was good, glad to have something good to watch this time of year.

The Roku is like a Firestick (depending on the model) but IMO, it's faster and superior to the Firestick. I purchased both from Amazon earlier this year, set them up and did a full comparison, then returned the Firestick.

HBO Go should be available on the Firestick. You'll need to verify your TV provider's info and email address account, then you'll be good to go.
