You and me both brother!! But by the time they reached the tornado you could really see it had dissipated a lot. No way they survive a Joplin F5 type. Just sayin.

My understanding is that his dominator vehicle has equipment that drops down and some sort of metal skirt that keeps wind from getting under the vehicle.

Yes. Joplin was a MONSTER. I've gone on a few storm chasing tours in Texas and Oklahoma. Seen some tornodoes but nothing bigger than F3, and that was from a safe distance. But that one was amazing.

it has hydraulics. so it can drop on the ground so wind cannot get underneath it and flip it.

Not to say that it cant.
