I watch BBT, but it's an 'iron, fluff and fold' show. Penny is still attractive, Sheldon and Amy are amusing alone and together. A little Walowitz [and mom] goes a long way. Besides, how could I order my life as a wealthy neurotic without Lorre's placards at the end?

I didn't actually watch season 5. I have no idea why. It had been my favorite comedy on TV for a couple of years.

Ironically, in light of my awareness of this thread [and general sentiment throughout the hipsternet], I literally laughed out loud in my car on the way home over a BBT commercial.

Sheldon: I don't think I've ever played Dungeons and Dragons with a girl before.

Penny: Aww, don't worry honey, no one has.

Not even that funny, but really well delivered and timed itself to hit directly on my funny bone.

Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe are leaving. I'm glad, I think the show got flat.

Speaking of flat, about 1/3 of Chris Pratt has left the show already.

Both of those characters did seem to fizzle out. A few new cast members might liven things up.

That's scary how different he looks. Even weirder is he now looks exactly like a friend from college.

I'd liked Lowes character, and Jones character was never that great to start with other than getting the ball rolling in the pilot and introducing Andy- whose character was only supposed to be an extended cameo (like 5-8 episodes).

I love the show and hope Offerman, Pratt, Ansari, and Plaza stick around. If you have ever seen Party Down, Adam Scott is really being underused for as good as he can be.

OTOH, This makes a little more sense now.
