Drafts coming up in a couple weeks, and I haven't seen a thread yet.

Was wanting to get some input overrated players/sleepers/strategies etc.

I've been going back and forth on what I want to do with my 2nd rounder. I've done a few mocks, and I really want to take Luck in the 2nd.. but I just can't seem to get as good of a team that route.

Also for the later 1st round who do you take out of CJ Anderson, Jeremy Hill, and Demarco Murray? To me its between Murray and CJ.. Leaning towards Murray. I don't think there will be a huge dropoff for him this year like everyone else seems to think

Not a huge sleeper, but I've been taking Jordan Matthews in just about every mock. I think he is going to have a HUGE year and he will be great value. Even Agholor should be a good late pick. Also Martavis Bryant. I think they finally found the guy to take some pressure off of Antonio Brown. Lastly I like Ameer Abdullah.. he should be a great fit in that offense, and I saw that Bell is going to start the season on the PUP

How many teams?

I would think Luck might not be available in the second round.

A risky sleeper I like with decent upside is CJ Spiller especially in a ppr league.

12 team. And yeah I'm not sure. I can see him going in the top half of the 2nd. At least with our league. But I personally see him being the top scoring QB this year. Maybe he'd be worth the 1st

What pick do you have?

Snake style draft?

You could go BPA, then Luck.

Then target a guy like Hilton, or Moncrief late.

I'd like to join a dynasty league if anybody is looking for someone. I've been running my league for a decade now, but a dynasty sounds like fun to do on the side.

I have a 3 man keeper league looking to expand. Not exactly dynasty but PM me if you're interested.

Not surprisingly, I've found draft strategies to depend solely on the make up of your league's roster and scoring.

Most 'standard' leagues are represented in draft magazines and websites, but what about odd leagues like the one I'm in.

I've been in the same league for nearly 20 years and over that time we have modified the roster and scoring to balance out the importance of every position. 10 team league, .25 PPR, 5 pionts for a passing TD, but more importantly, the starting roster is:

1 QB
1RB
1WR
1TE
2 Flex (WR/RB/TE)
1 K
1 Def/ST

The effect of this is RB need is reduced since you only have to start 1. In recent years, just about anyone can be taken in the first round and have a good team.

I have the #1 pick this year and I'm taking Luck, mainly because with the first pick you just cannot flop and the flop rate among WR and RB is pretty high.

For the dynasty league guys out there. Keep an eye on Ty Montgomery. You're welcome.

Who are you taking?

Assuming 1QB, 2RB, 2 WR, I would probably go with Charles, but Bell and Peterson would clearly be in the discussion.

I have the #1 in a .5PPR and I'm taking Charles over Bell

I think Bell would #1 without the suspension.

My top 5 is Bell, Peterson, Charles, Lacy, Lynch. I've decided if none of them are available I'm going Luck
