What happens if Manafort is found Not Guilty?

The media is trying to doxx the jury:

The judge will hold a hearing on a motion by CNN and media organizations to unseal the names and addresses of jurors as well as other parts of the trial that are currently secret.

A thirsty press is essential in a free country, the Judge said in announcing the hearing.
— Shimon Prokupecz (@ShimonPro) August 17, 2018

You've got to ask why?

They clearly fear an innocent verdict. An innocent verdict for Manafort would be a devastating blow to the media for how it makes them look. They've tried and convicted this guy already. No one needs him to be found guilty more than the media does.

I've always just assumed the guy was guilty. Especially once I heard he was involved with the Podestas. But the way the media is acting right now, it's looking like it might be a swing and a miss...

Yes, the MSM will doxx the jury.

And I think there will also be some violence(riots and assaulting Trump supporters), thanks in part to the MSM's negative coverage.

much ado about nothing

If he's found not guilty, Trumpers will say, "See!? No Collusion!"

If he's found guilty, Trumpers will say, "So what!? Nothing to do with Trump!"

Not any with any sense. This has zero bearing on the phony collusion fiasco.

I imagine if he's found guilty he'll go to jail.

Trump might pardon him too, to try to keep liberals and RINOs screaming. So far he's batting 1.000 in that arena.

Phony collusion fiasco? You realize that Papajohndapappolus has pleaded guilty, right? Lyin' Junior's meeting with Russians to get dirt on Clinton?

I forgot who I was talking to. Carry on.

Well, both of those could be considered "collusion" or cooperation, if you prefer. Precisely what Mueller was charged with investigating.

DNC colluded with Russia a hell of a lot more than the Trump campaign.

BucEyedPea 08-18-2018 07:31 AM

So Russians meddled to show how DNC rigged their own election.

How can this be bad? More like a public service to me.

So? Now it's "So!? There's nothing wrong with cooperating with Russians"?

Neither of those are examples of the collusion people talk about in this context.

The only context that really matters is what Mueller was tasked to investigate.
