I searched and I couldn't find a thread dedicated to this show....which is a shame because I just Netflix'd season 1-2 and they were so funny that It only took me 4 days to get through both seasons.

It returns on January 20, 2011 for Season 3.

One of the funniest shows on TV. I love every single character in it, and the writing is great.

Okay so I can't decide if my favorite character is Ron Swanson or Andy.

Chris Pratt does such a good job with that character its ridiculous. I feel so bad for him every time someone screws something up for him with April (who I think is gorgeous by the way).

I never really liked Amy Poehler on SNL, but she is funny in this.

I'm interested to see what becomes of Adam Scott's character, as I know he left Party Down to become a series regular on Parks and Rec.

The show's been discussed here plenty, much love. Hard to find as it's usually in a bigger thread, such as 'new fall lineup' or somesuch, or 'what are you watching?' type threads.

There's a reason Reaper's avatar is Ron effing Swanson.

Yeah my search turned up a bunch of different threads. I figured it would be better to just have its own dedicated thread.

I just read your spoiler regarding casting for the new season. I am ok with the additions, but that one subtraction is really shitty.

OK, based on this thread, decided to give it a shot on Netflix. Just into episode 2 but its hilarious so far.

Oh and Rashida Jones is sneaky hot!

It's an awesome show, and the community/parks and rec block last year was about as good as comedy gets.

I like it, but now as much as Community. Something about Amy Poehler just irritates me sometimes.

This show rocks! Just finished season 1, now on to season 2. Does it continue to keep the funny coming?

I thought season 1 was kind of meh. Season 2, however, is the bestest.

Season 2 is so good that I am upset that I watched it so fast because I cant watch new (to me) episodes anymore.

Women have to do a lot for me to consider them funny, Amy Poehler is not one of them. She is a talented comedian.

Not sure what you're saying here. Is she not a woman who has to do a lot to be funny, or is she not a woman you consider funny?

Woman useually fall in the annoying but I can reconize the talent and or luck

Tina Fey is the only woman I can think of who I think is really funny.

But season 2 was AWESOME! so much better than season 1.

SNL has produced a number of funny women over the years. Fey and Pohler both write, so that has probably helped them achieve success outside of SNL.

My bad. I meant that I can't find many women comedians who are actually funny. She's an exception who is naturally gifted.

Fey is another funny one too.

I can't stand her, I forgot about Kirsten Wiig, I like her a lot on snl. As far as stand up comedians go, I can't think of one woman that I like.

But in the past I also really liked Julia Louis Dryfus from her Seinfeld days, she was great and funny.

Ironically, she was an SNL regular for a season or two back in the early to mid 80's.

Absolutely was a good episode tonight.

I had a similar experience as Buck did. Completely watched the show in a few days this past week or so.

Yeah Parks and Rec was pretty much non stop laughs tonight.

The interaction between Ron and Andy (my 2 favorite characters) was the best thing of the entire series. They need to get those together for more scenes.

Rob Lowe has been great on the series so far. Really didn't expect anything from him so he has been a pleasant surprise. That character was perfectly written for him.

We've all known a Leslie type of character in the past. April/Aubrey Plaza is sneaky cute and I love her character. The whole cast is top notch. The Office used to be my favorite NBC comedy but P&R is on par with it.

Yeah, the other new guy is sort of just there. Maybe they have a plan for him, and they just haven't shown it yet.

Adam Scott is a great straight-man. C'mon guys. Every cast needs a straight-man. He's taking Paul Schnieder's place as the show's straight-man and he's killing it so far. STEP UP YOUR COMEDY UNDERSTANDING GAME.

He's great. The deadpan looks crack me up. I think it helps if you know him from "Party Down".

I think most people enjoy both Aubrey and Rashida. I know I would like to.

I think they could do a better job writing some of Aubrey's stuff.

Her character was funnier in the earlier episodes when she didnt say much. Just the looks she gave and one word answers were hilarious.

I loved it in an earlier episode when andy was looking up what WEBMD what kind of sickness someone had he goes "It says here you have...network connectivity problems"
