That's a little bit more than awesome!

TimeForWasp 04-06-2013 05:36 PM

That was fake. No way that was real. The defense didn't look like they were even trying.

Old Dog 04-06-2013 05:36 PM

Nicely done, Cornhuskers

hometeam 04-06-2013 05:36 PM

Love it.

KevB 04-06-2013 05:39 PM

BryanBusby 04-07-2013 12:53 AM

So it is proven. Sick kids are also better at scoring than Casshole.

That kid owns :)

DJ's left nut 04-07-2013 01:07 AM

Meanwhile, somewhere on the sidelines Bo Pelini was literally pissing himself with rage.

Very cool of Nebraska to do that.

Weird...Pollen count down here in Florida is really bad as well...

Johnny Vegas 04-07-2013 06:36 AM

the fact that little guy has the power and energy to run that distance is amazing. For that moment he ran, it was moment frozen in time where he got to be a kid forgetting he has cancer and just had fun. way to go champ. props Nebraska.

It didn't look much different from how the Chiefs have played defense over the last 10 years

Mojo Jojo 04-07-2013 06:56 AM

More likely to be drafted number one by the Chiefs than Geno. Just kidding...Very classy thing to do Cornhuskers

The awesome thing is how they tried to make it somewhat believable. I remember on the ESPY's a few years back when a some high school teams did essentially the same thing for a mentally handicapped student and they just kind of stood there.(not knocking what they did be any means)

By them running down the field and acting like they were trying to tackle him, it gave a more realistic and memorable feeling, imo.

stonedstooge 04-07-2013 07:48 AM

Ya I saw video the kid was on the sideline with the OC and Taylor Martinez drawing up the play. The little boy was so nervous. My favorite part was when he gets to about the 25 yardline and turns on the turbo.

I have a nephew that has autism. He's probably smarter at 10 than you are. He just struggles with social interactions and things like that. Anyway, ha ha...

And I'm so happy I got to use the word crass in a sentence today. The one positive thing I did all day perhaps.
