I just finished watching this. Funniest film I have seen all year.

The cops replaying the tape at the bar! ROFL

The funniest scene is where McLovin is with the cops and asks one of them "what's it like to have a gun?" So you obviously expect a police officer to say something like "it's a big responsibility" or something similar. So the cop with the mustache turns around and pauses and then replies with "IT'S AWESOME! IT'S LIKE HAVING TWO COCKS!"

This coming from a Jonah Hill fan, I was pretty disappointed with Superbad. I enjoyed it, but all of my friends continuously pimped it. I guess I just expected more.

The best part is when they cops are chasing Evan. Something like this, "he's the fast human alive." To me, that was the best part in the movie.

word I thought it was going to be bad ass i get let down alittle bit. I liked how the high schoolers looked like high schoolers though, not like 30 year olds in other high school movies

Yeah, I think "Knocked Up" was better.

Possibly due to high expectations, and the fact that I'm a father.

Superbad was pretty good, I could relate to all the things they did yo get booze. The cops were pretty funny, the best part is when they barge in on Mclovin doing it and they talk about "guiding the cock".

That was my take as well and probably for the same reasons. I'm also just not sure that I'm "in touch" with the current Apatow/Rogan trend in humor.

superbad was ok...the best parts were with mclovin and the cops...

pretty overrated. i would've enjoyed it more if jonah hill's character didn't melt down about every 5 minutes and start yelling at everyone around him.

there was only like two funny parts in that movie. i think it wasnt funny b/c it just seemed like the comedy was forced.

Yeah, I agree. Superbad was the same way. I really only laughed maybe twice during the whole thing.

40 YOV > Superbad > Talledega Nights >>> Knocked Up

Both movies are filled with crude, adolescent humor. You should've seen that from the previews. I knew what they were about. Loved them both.

Talledega Nights was horrible.

crude is ok, 40 Year Old Virgin was crude at times and it was halarious.

crude isnt the issue nor is adolescent, the comedy just seemed forced. it didnt flow and didnt seem natural.

To me, 40 YOV, Knocked Up, and Superbad are all pretty much, equally funny. I haven't seen all of Pooty Tang, but what I did see was pretty funny.

I thought a lot of the dialogue, specifically involving the heavier actor, seemed awkward and forced (even though I know some of it was probably intentional to capture the awkward dorkiness of the character).

It was better than Knocked Up, which failed to reach my expectations.

40 Year Old Virgin and Superbad are in a league all by themselves though.
