I ate at Smashburger yesterday. It was a pretty good burger.

we just got a Smashburger here in Atlanta, well one, that i KNOW of, it's in Duluth on 141 - I'm pretty sure they're still prepping it for opening.

Mmm-mmmm...that IS a tasty burger!
I love their Spicy Baja burger especially. |
My new favorite burger.
Terry's Turf Club, in Cincinnati. They were featured on Triple D. Go there. |
I didn't think Smash Burger was that good. Decent but not worth it really.

I like them better than Five guys or Red Robin. |
Hadn't been in a while, went back recently.
Can report, Blueberry Hill is still THE SHIZZNIT for burgers. Especially the Bleu Cheese Burger. Surprisingly [though it shouldn't be], the breakfast platter my dad ordered was one of the best breakfasts we'd seen anywhere for some time. Particularly their sausage patties. Best ground sausage we've had anywhere in recent memory. |

Best burger?
Grass-fed beef with high-quality, toasted bun on your own grill. Just not a fan of any of the "next tier" FF places like Smashburger, Five Guys, etc. While I'm not anti-FF, these places just don't impress me. I'll take a Culver's burger over these places any day and every day. |

I like Culver's too. Places like these make a good burger, but not necessarily food that you would drive 50 miles out of your way to get. The Smashburger we went too was out on 119th, and is not close to where we live, but we were on that end of town. Not sure I would drive out there just specifically to get a burger from there. |
For some reason, I never find myself craving a burger. Ever. Maybe its a case of fast food overload from when I was a kid; Id bet from the age of 10-20, 80% of the my non-homemade meals centered around burgers.
