Yeah, I'm fine with that.

Lets lock up our LT who's coming of his rookie contract, that has played with shit at Qb and done a great job.

He postures for top 5, we'll offer top 10, and then they'll split the difference and wrap it up.

If the Back is Good then yes.

The idea that any fan is even considering Joeckel as a replacement for Albert because it would be cheaper is just sad. Pay Albert. Pay Bowe. Draft Smith. Enjoy the next 5 years of Chiefs offense.

This town really needs to get out of the defeatist risk-averse budget mindset.

yessir

no need to create extra problems/holes...find 2-3 starters with our first 4 picks, 1-2 B level FAs, and all of sudden we're in business...

O.city 02-05-2013 11:07 AM

If his back checks out, yeah, I don't really care about spending money. I'm not all about being a AAA team for some of this larger market teams.

RunKC 02-05-2013 11:08 AM

we should have the money for this, especially since we are going to cut Cassel and Jackson.

Deberg_1990 02-05-2013 11:11 AM

Even if Albert does walk, id still take a QB at #1.

CaliforniaChief 02-05-2013 11:15 AM

It's interesting how people are acting like Albert's damaged goods now. Other than the back, which we have ZERO evidence is a lasting injury, hasn't he been one of the most durable players on the roster?

RunKC 02-05-2013 11:17 AM

Well now maybe Pioli drafting Stephenson doesn't look like such a shitty move now afterall. LMAO

Missed 1 game in 2008. 2 games in 2009. 1 game in 2010. 3 games in 2012.

And the Chiefs already have a young "potential" back up for Albert if he is in&out of the line up this season
