Uh, he's got solid quickness and runs solid routes.

He's money for the type of double moves that Andy likes to utilize. Bowe running sluggos is going to blow your mind if he's resigned.

I have a feeling Bowe wants like 80% of Calvin/Fitzy money and I just don't think he's going to get it, but he's going to try for it.

Patriot Way is gone.

Reid will pay players.

I don't think so.

8/29/2011: Signed a six-year, $100 million contract. The deal contains $32.5 million guaranteed, including a $7 million signing bonus and all of Vick's first- and second-year base salaries and $3 million of his 2013 salary (for injury only). The sixth year voids if Vick participates in 35% of the Eagles' offensive snaps in any of the first five seasons, making the contract more realistically worth $80 million over five years. Another $3 million is available through incentives based on Super Bowl wins in 2011 and 2012, and playing time (77.5% of the regular season snaps). 2013: $15.5 million, 2014: $12.5 million (+ $3 million roster bonus), 2015: $14.5 million (+ $2 million roster bonus), 2016: $20 million (Dummy Year), 2017: Free Agent

Hootie 01-31-2013 07:58 PM

Vick got 6-100 with 32.5 guaranteed
Cassel 28 guaranteed

Hootie 01-31-2013 07:59 PM

hey you could sell me on Alex Smith between the 20s and Vick as the red zone QB!!!

Ok, I'm kidding.

BossChief 01-31-2013 08:00 PM

If I read that right...I bet Vick gets released.

This is gonna be a roller coaster offseason leading up to the draft.

"The Chiefs will trade for Alex Smith"

"The Chiefs will sign Mike Vick"

-neither happens-

With the first pick in the 2013 NFL draft, The Kansas City Chiefs select GENO SMITH, WEST VIRGINIA.

I stand corrected, but still. It isnt an outrageous contract.

HotCarl 01-31-2013 08:22 PM

I'd rather have Alex Smith a million times over Vick.

So are we on board with being ok if he gets Duane Brown money?

Some people may not be, but if his back checks out 100% then I'm good with it.
