Anyone watching this movie series on History channel? Been interesting so far, still in the Old Testament.

The book was better.

Wife DVR it. Ill catch an episode and let you know.

I'm looking forward to the Begat episode(s).

I lol'd. Told this to my co-worker, and she lol'd too.

The two reviews i've read are scathing, gonna take a pass.

Jesus dies.

But in an exciting twist, he comes back to life!

Dave Lane told me that he is really looking forward to this.

Watched a few minutes last night, saw the Exodus with Moses...it's ok I guess. Not sure why they left a few things out, like God telling Moses from the burning bush to take his shoes off for this is hallowed ground...weird that they would leave that out.

The previews show what looks like Jesus answering the question What are we going to do? with "We're going to change the world..." That right there was enough to cause me to be veeeery skeptical. But, I'll see a few more epi's and decide.

The bible being on history channel is the equivalent of dragons being on animal planet.

I hope this guy places Jesus.

Jesus was a stoner?

Apparently this had a pretty huge viewership. Something like 13M. I wasn't paying attention to what the radio said about it but it is apparently a big deal.

Pretty sure everyone was then.
