If you guys just want to mess around when server is down, on main login screen go to options and change your server to Asia, log in and play.

i'm level 9 now and starting to get the hang of it

left click - hunger arrow
right click - rapid fire
1st button skill - caltrops traps (to slow shit down, especially good while running away)

2nd button skill - Vault

I can vault into the middle of a huge mob, drop 2/3 caltrops traps and then vault back out in a heartbeat. It slows the whole mess of mobs down and i can break out the rapid fire and mow those bitches down.

Selected pierce as my 1st rune so i can get some through and through kill shots.

Shitass servers finally came back up right before leaving for work, and they went down right as i was coming home. **** these assholes!

It's not piracy, it's cheating they're worried about; stat hacking, boosting, item duping, etc. Blizz would love for all of their games to be viable as e-sports, and this is pretty much the only way they can keep the playing field level.

wrong. they have stated countless times they do not want d3 or be a esport an will not support it being turned into one. the online only mode was to stop the hacks they say yet most of the hacks that was in d2 was online only. they claim online only was to stop pirating an cheats an it will stop none of the above.

you know the damn pirated copy of d3 has been up an running without all these server crashes? the pirates can run the game better then blizzard can.

The game won't be pirated until a server emulator comes out, probably a year away. Now hopefully we'll get bots soon enough though. ;)

just a warning. when you fight diablo. make sure you empty your bags before you fight him. when he dies you will not be allowed to go empty your bags an come back to grab loot.

Do you guys feel like the default playing level is too easy?

Granted I'm only 2 hrs in. Think my char is somewhere around level 6 or something. Anyways, It's easy to mow people down with no threat at all in your health. One one time was I slightly worried.

Do you have to play on Normal to start off? I just want to keep it interesting.

I don't want to play with anybody. I don't view this as a social activity. I don't want to have to rely on somebody else before tackling some phase of a multiplayer game. Nor do I want somebody else relying on me. Gaming is ME time, 100%, Period. The. End, not me and a bunch of other people, no matter who/where they are. Not personal to anybody here - I wouldn't game with my best friend if he asked me to.

Figured that out later. Not high enough for vault yet, but that caltrops thing is pretty awesome.

I knew you were, and I've made my feelings clear on this subject several times in the past. Just spelling it out again for the n00bs.

Francis is the nerdrage king. I watched a couple other of his videos and he is a pretty cool dude that does a great semi-"special" character in Francis.

i'm to the point now that dropping caltrops is almost a nervous twitch. Each time i stop or see a monster my finger pretty much auto drops a caltrops. hehe

even if it just right at your feet, it slows the mobs from hitting you by a .5 second or so. Time enough to run or vault out of the way.

vampire attack + rapid fire = extremely hard to kill

I found a dam good 1-handed bow with the same damage as a full sized 2-h. So i can wear a huge shield(88 armor points w/magic attributes).

My laptop has a duo 2.53, 3gb ram, and a 9600m gt video card and it runs on default setting without any lag. About a 5 year old laptop. The requirements say I should only be able to play on low but I'm not having any trouble.

Are there really default settings or does it just assess your computer's capabilities and "default" to an appropriate setting level? The latter is how StarCraft 2 works.

it starts everything out at default. i had problems with lag at first, changed my resolution and now im able to run on high settings and my cpu shouldnt even be able to handle it

This CPU was made to OC. Paired with my z68 extreme3 mobo - this thing was the easiest OC i've ever done. I'll mention that picking up a Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus was an absolute must though.

cant remember exactly what my specs are, but my iMac has no problem running this on highest settings. Probably have to turn it down in PvP, but right now it's perfect. The only problem I have is losing track of my cursor sometimes.

But I have that razor mouse with the number pad on the side, makes this game much easier.
