The West Coast is on Fire
 

I'm on the Northern Coast of CA and the air is filled with smoke everywhere. Ash on my car and the sun/moon is red. A friends house burnt down near hwy 299. Seems to be lots of fires everywhere. Anyone here dealing with this? We need some of that rain from Texas.

No danger for my town except air quality. Luckily we can run away from fire if necessary. The fires are far from my house but that second pic is right next to my house. There's a yellowish strange glow to the daylight tho. This has been going on for a week now.

We just suffered through the mariposa fires and whatever burnt has made my life an itching ****ing nightmare. Its not as bad as it was, but it still out in the air, i need rain in the worst way. lol. I live SUPER close to that fire that happened a month or 2 ago.

NOw we have another one in the north valley. ughh! ash everywhere. Its really fun right now. Its a good thing, the heatwave is over now. We need some damned rain!

we are on 'alert' here in the blue mountains. gusts over 50kph, no rain for some time, mix in a few dropkicks and there are bound to be more fires here this year in NSW. two words. pine needles.

I know a pretty good chunk of Canada is on fire also.

What the hell is going on these days? The west is on fire, the south is under water, and Florida is about to get blown off the map.

And that haze has made it to KC. Sunset is nothing bet a big red ball in th esky.

Climate change. We were warned.

Weather's been great up here, though!

Poor little ol' flyover Missouri is just hunkering down for a three day stretch in the low 70s.

I was going to put how it's been pretty damned pleasant around here lately in spite of all this, but thought it would be kinda dickish to say it. LMAO
