What would you have in your 10 car garage?

You have a 10 car garage and unlimited funds. What do you fill it with?

/kind of a spinoff thread from Bewbie's coolest car thread.

It isn't meant to be an off roading vehicle. It is big and roomy and it's only purpose is to cart people around town. I've got the Bowler of off road activities. Even then... it can even handle off road if pressed. It is a great vehicle.

ghak99 09-27-2012 08:13 PM

I'd start with my great grandfathers '31 coupe, my Grandfathers 1st tractor and plow, my fathers '66 Super Sport, my mothers '69 Camaro, and my '87 Mustang. Throw a cot and a fridge in the corner and pay a car nut to live with them until they are better than original and thank ****ing god they are finally out of the working shop so I can get something done. I guess start a '32 rat rod project in a slot and keep rotating through the newest/baddest lambo style of import in another. I could see an ultra small helicopter being handy and keeping a decent boat in another. Hopefully there is a good enough area left to put in a couple well polished brass poles with a pair of monster big screens and recliner seating for the good times with a few friends.

The daily drivers can sit in the rain.

My grandfather came out of KC determined to farm and went at it with a pair of Farmall tractors. We've always assumed the H was the first as he always kept it under shed with his original 2 bottom plow on it, but no one can explain why he parked the M in the fence row never to be sold or scrapped. The paperwork is long gone and unfortunately it was one of the things no one thought to ask about before it was too late. Either way, it's crazy to think that little tractor helped build everything that dwarfs and surrounds it today.

I always thought they were crazy for being attached to piles of metal until it came time to take a couple grand for my mustang or pull it into the row with the rest of them. :doh!:

Great thread.

I'd go with...

1. Anniversary Edition Lamborghini Countach (White on white)
2. 1957 Corvette convertible (Turquoise on white)
3. I'd keep my apricot BMW. I like it.

Not sure I really need more than that, but if money is no object...

4. 1981 DeLorean (Stainless on silver) I've always wanted one of those
5. A Hummer H2 (Yellow with tan if that's possible) for hauling stuff
6. A Bentley sedan of some sort. They're really nice.
7. A 1934 Duesenberg (sp?) (Royal green with natural leather)
8. A Rolls Royce Silver Shadow (Silver with leather)
9. Okay...if it's not a problem, one of those Bugatti Veyron roadsters (Black and white) (Tempted to go with the Vector here.)
10. I'm torn on the last one between a Tesla for when I'm feeling green and a classic Shelby 500KR convertible and a Mustang Boss 429. Tough choice. I think I'll go with the Boss, because they're freakin' cool in that bright blue.

2 Hennessy Viper
3 Caloway (sledge hammer ) corvette
4 Grande sport corvette( first seen in Elvis's Clambake, and later a car wrecked in the last fast and furious movies)
5 Tesla roadster
6 Suzuki boulevard
7 nice dirt bikedirt bike

But it wouldn't serve the same purpose that the RR Sport does. If I want an SUV to go camping of plain off roading, then the Bowler kicks the shit out of both the Rover AND the G550, pisses in their faces, then sets them on fire.

I would have the Rover because it is a big vehicle and would be good at carrying people around town comfortably.

Bug is really the only one that went full reerun with listing American cars. To be fair though... if muscle cars are your thing, you really don't have an option outside American.

a 1987 Ford Tempo, the other 9 stalls would be filled with junk I bought on ebay, flea markets, and garage sales.

LJS is the shit.

I'll go with a good reliable car, maybe a Toyota Camry or something like that. And for a fun Sunday car, I've always liked the 1957 Cadillac Biarritz convertible.

The rest of the space I think I like the Simply Red idea of filling it with some Long John Silvers fish, chicken planks and hush puppies.

I've had a few cool cars in my life but have gotten to the point now where it's simply a tool or appliance like a washing machine or screwdriver. I just want it to do it's job - get me there and get me home where I will enjoy me some yummy LJS chicken planks. Mmmmm...

'69 Camaro Z28
'70 Chevelle SS 454
'67 Shelby Mustang GT500
'69 Dodge Charger 440 Six Pack
'70 Buick GSX Stage-1
'69 GTO Judge
'70 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air V

And I'll need a truck.

Nice list!
You could always have one put together, but in 69, actually 69 1/2, the 440 6-pack was a Road Runner and Super Bee only thing. They have almost a cult following in the Mopar circles.
Then in 70 the 440 6 pak (Dodge), 6 barrel (Plymouth) was offered across the rest of the performance B, C and E Body line, GTX, Charger, Cuda, Challenger, Coronet R/T and even some Sport Fury variations. :D

Wouldn't you prefer the GNX over just the GN?

Are you in the market for a GN?

Radar Chief 09-28-2012 09:31 AM

One would definitely have to be a ’59 Caddy.

http://www.100megsfree4.com/cadillac...59/cad59ah.jpg

’64 Impala with the tri-power 327 would have to be another.

'63 Corvette Split Window Coupe.

'72 Camaro SS396.
