As a KU fan, playing in a dome is great. KU doesnt rely on the 3 pt shot. It will only help us. I expect Withey and Rele domination. Bill Selfs teams are pure grit. That is why we win. Plus I had a dream that Bennt MC drained his 1st 3 and got an alley oop on the first play. We were up 14 to 2 to start.

Michigan has not seen this kind of D in the tourney. Withey is going to give them fits. I can see McGary turning into last year's Jared Sullinger.

That's if KU's defense doesn't lay an egg. Those guards are goooood. Probably the best in the nation. Ours are not. We rely on blocked shots , rebounding, and forcing bad shots inside the arc.

True, I read an analysis that said KU's defense locks down the paint (like no one can score, no one) but the opponents in KU's path are teams that dont rely on the paint to score. Michigan is the worst about that, the vast majority of their scoring is outside the paint.

Ive been at the bar for 30 minutes holding our table. I will be sloshed tonight, just wondering if it will be happy drunk or sad drunk.

shit. how did I miss this thread! work getting in the way of more important things.

I too have a really good feeling. I've watched both teams lots. I honestly truly think that Michigan will win by 10 or more. if they play the same level of ball as they did in the VCU game......ain't gonna be good for KU.

Michigan has no chance. They're going to get blown out. I can feel it in my bones.

Imon Yourside 03-29-2013 01:46 PM

KU by 14, Michigan won't be able to hit anything but layups.

Mr. Arrowhead 03-29-2013 01:47 PM

good luck tonight!!! Us Kansas schools have a couple of big 10 schools to take care over the next couple of days

McGary has just now become the starter. Michigan deferred to the senior Jordan Morgan all year. but McGary is better. last two games they spelled McGary with Horford and Morgan sat the bench. not sure why, but all 3 are decent with McGary being an authentic big man. I do believe he really is 6 10 with a motor that won't stop. he can dribble too.

Michigan starts 3 freshmen, and this could hurt with such a big spotlight shining down. they also start 5 future NBA'ers, so that's good!
