Aaron Murray as a Potential Romo Backup?

Ran across this article and thought I'd post it for your reading pleasure. Someone sure seems to like the potential upside of Mr Murray....

They can wish in one hand and shit in the other.

**** them.

I love how they can hype him up, then suggest that he could be acquired for a 3rd Rd pick. Go **** yourself, Dallas

Red Dawg 04-10-2016 12:40 PM

Won't happen. Why would they do this?

Chiefs got him for a 5th and he's never even been active yet, so....

Yes. Solid backup potential!

Get away from him, you scavengers.

AWAY WITH YOU

Dorsey/Reid and co would have to be completely sold on Bray as #2 to make this move, I kinda doubt thats the case

This was my first thought when reading the OP.

The only way this happens is if the Chiefs don't think Murray is good enough and they unload him on Dallas.

If they think Murray is good enough then they keep him as a backup ala Daniel. His value will only go up after he gets on the field more and any future trade would be worth much more than Dallas would give right now.

Or, they might take the pick and do the unthinkable prior to round 3?

That still leaves Bray at #2, no way are they going to trust a rookie to come in and take that spot

Exactly, screw Dallas.

So then we draft Paxton Lynch and have our REAL QBOTF.

True. I had forgotten how extensive the playbook is, and how much training is needed in that particular system.
