Nice work Al!
In for the CLINCHER. (I hope.) |
Get the champagne on ice if Toronto completes the 4-game sweep
Early line for the royals with james on the mound is -135. Get it while it's hot!
In 4 the start of the sweep

So I have an idea:
Let's tie with the Tigers then it shouldn't matter as much if we go to the WC. Two options then: 9/25 Shields 9/26 Guthrie 9/27 Duffy 9/28 Ventura ----------------------------------------- 9/29 Vargas is in line for the 1-game tiebreaker in detroit, but maybe they skip him and pitch Big Game instead 10/1 if we lose we can then send Vargas out against the A's since they can't seem to hit either. Then for the Angels series starting 10/2 we should be able to go out with something like Duffy, Ventura, Shields, Vargas, Duffy for the 5-game series. Or if we would beat Detroit throwing Big Game then I think by the time the ALDS comes around on 10/2 we could be ready for Duffy, Ventura, Shields, Vargas, Duffy. At least I think that is what I would do  |

Yay for the non-Bruiser thread! His day is done after last night's loss.
Bruiser is dead to me. Vargas probably saw his thread and decided to quit on the team.
who is this bruiser guy you speak of?
Shields is probably not available Monday. We rearranged the rotation so he could pitch on Tuesday.

Vargas shouldn't get the ball for any 1-game playoff. And Crow should not pitch in a game of consequence ever again.
What's yalls Magic number? Good luck hope you make the playoffs
