Would've been interesting to at least have seen Stanzi play at some point, but I doubt it would be any big loss if he was ejected along with the other two.

What is with people wanting to keep these guys for any reason. I wouldn't want one of them to be the water boy. Get rid of them all and start fresh.

I share this sentiment.

People defending Stanzi want to use the excuse that the coaching staff "didn't know a thing about QBs and didn't know how to develop them."

Well, who drafted him? Yup. That same staff that "didn't know a thing about QBs."

Let Reid, the "QB guru," wipe the slate clean. Draft a QB in the first, draft a QB in the mid rounds, and sign a FA vet.

I'd assume Cassel has already put his house up for sale...

the Talking Can 01-06-2013 12:50 PM

stanzi should wash the hot dog water smell off of him before meeting reid.....or maybe not

reid: "Ricky, look, we just don't see a place for y....[sniffs] mmmmm hot dogs....i'm hungry, want lunch?"

bevischief 01-06-2013 12:59 PM

There are midgets in Iowa?

ILChief 01-06-2013 01:08 PM

Quinn is a free agent anyway so he won't be back. Cassel is due way too much money so he'll be cut. Stanzi should at least make it to camp since he's still under his rookie fifth round deal and doesn't cost much. There's no real incentive to cut him early

Besides being terrible and taking up a roster spot, right?

Roster spots don't matter really until later in camp which is why I said he could make it to camp. I doubt he makes it past the first cut either way

Do you think Reid could coach any of them up?

Clean sweep... get rid of them all.

Munson 01-06-2013 02:04 PM

Cut all 3 of them.

Worst QB trio in the league.

On Stanzi, who even knows. Noone's seen him play, except in practice. (I'm not holding out much hope though).

Any thought of keeping Cassel or Quinn is pure lunacy. They are not NFl talent.

Neither is Stanzi.

Get rid of them all.

Get rid of them all.

Get rid of them all.

Seriously why is this even a question?
