Wow

RIP

He definitely lived longer than most would have thought, and was a great contributor to the field of science.

Loved reading his books. The mind of a generation, and he didn't marry his cousin like Einstein did.

Strongside 03-13-2018 10:04 PM

Sad to see this.

ALS took my Grandpa three weeks ago. He loved reading Hawking's books and passed that love on to me. He was the best man I'll ever know.

**** that disease.

Pitt Gorilla 03-13-2018 10:07 PM

That really sucks.

His passing has left an intellectual vacuum in his wake. But it's not empty. Damn. It's amazing he lived as long as he did, but still very sad to see him go.

BigBeauford 03-13-2018 10:23 PM

If you ever feel the need to gain a glimpse inside the hell that people living with ALS deal with, or just want to watch a powerful documentary, I cannot recommend "Gleason" enough. RIP sir.
