There is no way he can start next year uncontested.

This idea that he was "horrible" is a myth.

He definitely needs to improve and I wouldn't have a problem with them bringing in a guard to compete.

Upgrading that position is about 7th on my priority list.

EDIT: And it's not a shock he ended the season on a down note after showing improvement mid-season. He got better when Lilja moved to center and go worse when Stephenson replaced Albert. It's not rocket surgery.

so at least, there will be 1 to 2 openings on the offensive line for competition. You almost have to bring a veteran in at that point.

If there's one thing Andy Reid loves it's offensive lineman, he will build the line his way and he will waste tons of draft picks on doing it.
