Jury Duty

I got a letter in the mail today for Jury Duty. The thing is, its for Black Hawk County and I live in Polk. It asks round trip mileage from your Black Hawk residents since they reimburse you for gas.

Since I no longer live in Black Hawk County, will they drop me from it?

Does this look like Jury Services? Call them and ****ing find out.

Bitch

Yes, you'll get dropped. But make sure you call on schedule. They'll update your information to your new county.

I wouldn't have been upset about it since I'd still get paid from my work too, but I figured they would drop me after seeing the mileage they were paying me.

Yes, you'll be dismissed anyway.

I've never done it before. I've always used that as a reason not to register to vote... because everyone I know who has ever done it was a registered voter. But my arrest in March might have been what put me on the map. That or my luck just ran out.

It was an honor to get selected to do my civic duty. Good experience even though it was kind of a pain in the ass. I would do it again but I wouldn't volunteer.

Much easier.

My guess is that you were a campaign contributor to the prosecuting attorney, thus you have a conflict of interest.

houstonwhodat 02-23-2013 07:58 AM

If you get picked them them the defendant looks guilty.

Dismissed....
