How did your 8 year old like it?

I like it, but it could have used a little editing. I think its a little long during the middle.

It looks amazing on Blue Ray.

Rented the Savages. We'll see how it is.

It was okay. A little flat and a little depressing.

I really like Laura Linney, so I've been meaning to see The Savages. As soon as I have more free time some weekend, I'll get to that.

The only movie I really remember her in is Congo. What movies have you seen that she stands out in?

Just saw Baby Mama on Blu-Ray...

Looks great on HD for sure, but a poor poor movie, not even close to funny. 1/5 stars, that one star for the picture quality

Baby Mama wasn't THAT bad, I mean, it is what it is...

my feelings exactly. I had high hopes for that one.

so it turns out Tina Fey can only write a sitcom. Her movies and sketch comedy writing are very meh.

Just came back from Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist.

Went to see it with my girl, don't flame me.

Its definitely a chick-flick, but I have to admit, I did laugh during a few scenes.

If you need to take your chick out to a movie, this isn't a bad one.

The first two Baby Lee mentioned I strongly second.

Also, The Exorcism of Emily Rose and Primal Fear.

She was also in Mothman Prophecies.

And, of course, she played Abigail Adams in John Adams.

It's a chick flick? Really?

I mean, it is true that the novel has the guy ask the girl, but still, it didn't look chick flicky.

HBO's Emmy winning promo before Entourage convinced me to watch John Adams.
