All things aside, Kaepernick would be a great addition as a back up. I wouldn't want him though because of what happened before in San Francisco with him taking Smith's job.

The Chiefs are going to have to draft a QB and sign one in the off season. Mahomes will be the only current QB on the roster next year.

Yep, we might as well go out and sign a veteran backup. No need to waste time on Bray anymore. We have several roster spots that need an upgrade. We are playing a lot of young guys though, maybe some will develop.
