Original Nintendo Games Rentals/Buy
I am looking to see if anyone in here that has experience in buying the original nintendo games and the system. A few questions for those who live in the KC Metro area.
What store(s) would be the best bet for me to find the original Nintendo system, remote controls, and the games? I tried to google it, but either there aren't very many of them, or I'm not doing a good job at it (this one most likely is the case) and I could use some guidance, please. Also, for those who actually own the system, would the current components work okay for a HDTV (Samsung 50" flat screen) or is there anything special that I need to buy? I'd appreciate the help. |
Vintage Stock.
The system will work except the Zapper. |
I doubt you will find much original Nintendo stuff outside of flea market/antique shops.
You will likely have to buy online. IIRC the original Nintendo used RCA cables to connect, so your tv would need those. |
You can download a Nintendo emulator and roms for free.

pawn shops.

Dumbasses.
Vintage Stock! Also, spend the extra $$ for a "top loader." They won't have near as many problems as the original front loading NES. |

Duck Hunt won't work on a flat panel TV though, sorry. |
Buy one off of craigslist... and get a new 72-pin connecter on ebay for $8, and repair it... it will be like new.

Vintage Stock is THE best place to go for original NES games. I buy tons from them. They're dirt cheap too.
