CBS: MacGyver

No. I refuse to have the great MacGyver be sullied by such nonsense.

I'd rather watch Full House reruns.

I never saw a single episode of the original so this looks pretty cool to me.
I don't get the Over-40 hate. |

Used to watch the show as a kid. I'm undecided on this. Like all shows, it will need to succeed to some degree before I'll bother tuning in. Didn't see anything in the trailer to make me think there's no way it could work, though.

I liked the original, but wasn't a major fan. A reboot done well wouldn't bother me. This looks similar, but something about the new MacGyver just seems annoying. The guy playing him here just seems like a smug jackass. Not likable at all (to me). Richard Dean Anderson just seemed like a genuinely nice guy.
To me, this show was all about the main character. Get him right, and it could be really good. I'll give it a shot, but low expectations. |
