Alright, so I just watched Raw. Since the first 95 minutes were God-awful, I'm gunna stick to the HHH-Punk thing...

Loved the segment, and I'm glad the two haven't really had much physical interaction, other than a few shoves & the mic to the face. I'm not going to order NoC because I'm poor, but I'll be watching nonetheless, just because of this match. Seems fairly obvious that they're going to keep this feud going for awhile, and I don't think we've seen the end of Nash or Funkman, but as was mentioned earlier, they NEED to establish that face/heel line between Punk & Trips this weekend.

I would have loved the mic-smash if Punk was already mega-over as a face and HHH was the heel, or the other way around. But since he's in that tweener position (depending on the crowd), I don't think it went over as big as it could have (although it could be to set up a big swerve or something on Sunday). Guess I should be thankful they didn't do it in Wichita, cause he wouldn't have gotten a reaction except for the one fat guy in the cheap seats marking the **** out (me)...


Anyway, was it just me, or did they announce about 4 matches for Sunday in like 3 minutes last night? Love the fact that they clearly don't give a shit about anything except Cena, Orton & HHH/Punk....

Matt Hardy is fat and dumb, and also got arrested again for DUI

Claudio Castagnoli is now Antonio Cesaro.

It could be so much worse, and the name works pretty well to convey his Europeatude.

Also, someone linked a Dean Ambrose promo and that was interesting enough to make me decide to watch some of his FCW matches. He's so fascinating, and I love how much Regal marks out when he debuts. How crazy, complimenting your talent and making them sound awesome (though it doesn't hurt when they actually are compelling in their own right).

Now I want a JR/Regal team on Raw. It's sad to want things that will never happen.

As for the Castignoli name change, why do they always feel the need to change a guy's name (unless it's a copyright thing) when they come to WWE? Makes you wonder how a guy with a name like CM Punk was able to keep it this whole time...

They're trying so hard to make people (with balls and over 5) root for Cena. It ain't gonna work. People in Madison Square Garden are going to shit all over this match, and Cena's going to get booed out of the building.

Check that, now WWE.com is saying it will be a traditional 5-on-5 survivor series match.

You can say that again. My friends and I got half the arena going nuts during that Hell in a Cell 2 years ago in Newark and we will do it again if need be. Good thing is, it won't be, because plenty will be doing it without our help. You could put him with any 4 human beings that ever lived, and he is still going to get run out of that arena.

I nearly forgot there was a 3-hour raw you have to pay for tonight. I mean ppv.

I've got it playing on the computer in the background with the Falcons-Eagles game on TV. Only watching for Punk-HHH. I really couldn't care less about the rest of this card.
