I'm expecting an '04 Curt Schilling postseason performance from his ass in the playoffs.

The organization has ****ed this up beyond recognition.

Had they been upfront and honest, people wouldn't be speculating.

That's my issue with the whole thing. they won't tell you what the issue is, nor does he ever speak about it.

How hard is it for Eric Berry to discuss what the issue is?

It is easy. FHL transfer. Would lose initial burst in speed and some of his height on jumping.

Then they should've done the surgery LAST YEAR when he was on the shelf anyway

The longer he can drag this thing out the more of his money he sees. No person would just willingly give up 20 million dollars because it didn't work out.

I don’t understand why they haven’t NFI listed him.

Unless this deformity was caused by football...

Cause Eric Berry doesn't want anyone to know?

That would speak even more to him trying to drag it out for money reasons.

. He, as in eric, should have no issues telling us what's wrong.

He sure talked about the cancer issues all the time when that was going on. There were articles everywhere

BossChief 10-31-2018 04:15 PM

Question...do we even know FOR SURE that Eric never had the surgery?

Obviously , using common sense, they think he can play and he isn't

Yeah, he's been day to day with an expected return date of week 5 while recovering from surgery.

BossChief 10-31-2018 04:17 PM

Tons of assumptions in here based on little to no data

Mecca 10-31-2018 04:17 PM

There's also an ego thing for not NFI'ing him. You think Clark Hunt wants to look like a total dipshit for paying this guy and him playing 1 game then going on a list where he may never return at all?

This way helps them save face to some degree cause hey he could come back.

They have allowed for this to happen because they give no info about it. They ask for this to happen, and honestly he doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt at this point since he can't even answer a question about it.

I want Berry to be a Chief for life, but not for a blank check.

He has serious concerns, medically.

Cancer returns and he's on a huge money guaranteed deal...were ****ed
His weak Achilles tears (that's been a concern for 2 years), were ****ed
He doesn't replicate his best season ever each year, were ****ed.

Here was my reasoning for being weary about his extension before it was done.

I just find it a very odd situation that seems to clearly be missing huge chunks of the puzzle
