yep; it's a really easy thing to make, and can make it however you like; easy prep and easy clean up. Makes for a pretty stress free day leading up to the game etc.

Yep, not gonna spend all day in the kitchen sunday, everything will be prepped up saturday

Melt the cheese, heat the taco meat, add prechopped veggies = nachos are done

Throw eggrolls in grease for a few minutes = eggrolls are done

Grim 02-02-2018 11:49 AM

We're making stuffed mushrooms.
We usually stuff them with a cream cheese and crab meat stuffing. What we don't stuff the mushrooms with will become a cracker spread.

probably wont do it this time, but one of these days I'm going to make that sauce/dip that Pablo posted and use that as my 'cheese' to drizzle on my nachos.

though, the wife saw the ingredients and noticed Velveeta.....therefore, she won't even try it. lol.

After much hem hawing, decided on skirt steak tacos, homemade chicken taquitos, and queso con carne.

Post-Super Bowl Monday is greatest of all days to be working from a home office with a personal bathroom attached.

Pablo 02-03-2018 09:20 AM

I settled on sausage and cream cheese stuffed mushrooms and some bacon jalapeño deviled eggs for my contributions. Buddy is smoking chicken and ribs with beans and such on the side. We'll see what else makes it out to the party.

Pablo 02-03-2018 09:25 AM

Oh I'm gonna make Alton Brown's French onion dip. That stuff is delicious. Very easy but you want to make it a night ahead so the flavors can mingle. Being told the hostess is breaking out some crab mozzarella sticks or some such crazy shit. Interested to see what that actually is.

cooper barrett 02-03-2018 09:44 AM

Found a bag of Bobs red Mill 13 bean mix and added tomatoes ( HG frozen), onions and garlic, Spaghetti squash and smoked pork for a cumin chili for the pitch in. It'll go fast.

roll ups
buffalo cheese dip
little smokies
chicken taquitos (all probably take the easy way out and go frozen section)

i am however going to try a slab of baby back ribs in the instant pot. there's a vid
on youtube that is one hour from start to finish. i'll report back if its any good.

Couldn't decide between kafta burgers or fish tacos. After checking what was available at the meat counter settled on tilapia tacos, Mexican rice, chips with guacamole & pico.
