Melt the cheese, heat the taco meat, add prechopped veggies = nachos are done Throw eggrolls in grease for a few minutes = eggrolls are done |
We're making stuffed mushrooms.
We usually stuff them with a cream cheese and crab meat stuffing. What we don't stuff the mushrooms with will become a cracker spread. |
Surprised not to see....Hungry man and a can of Hormel chili?

After much hem hawing, decided on skirt steak tacos, homemade chicken taquitos, and queso con carne.
Post-Super Bowl Monday is greatest of all days to be working from a home office with a personal bathroom attached. |
I settled on sausage and cream cheese stuffed mushrooms and some bacon jalapeño deviled eggs for my contributions. Buddy is smoking chicken and ribs with beans and such on the side. We'll see what else makes it out to the party.
|
Oh I'm gonna make Alton Brown's French onion dip. That stuff is delicious. Very easy but you want to make it a night ahead so the flavors can mingle. Being told the hostess is breaking out some crab mozzarella sticks or some such crazy shit. Interested to see what that actually is.

Found a bag of Bobs red Mill 13 bean mix and added tomatoes ( HG frozen), onions and garlic, Spaghetti squash and smoked pork for a cumin chili for the pitch in. It'll go fast.

1 lb ground beef 1 tbsp. zaatar seasoning 2 tbsp. dried parsley(I prefer fresh) 1 tbsp. dried mint 2 tbsp. dried marjoram 1 tsp salt 1/3 tsp paprika( I used smoked Spanish paprika) 1 small onion minced 1 clove garlic minced * you can also add a 1/2 tsp of cumin if it suits you. After meat is seasoned chill in fridge for 1 hour Make thin patties and place feta cheese between 2 patties. Cook however you want. use a pita as your bun, preferably Lebanese type pita dress with lettuce, red onion, tomato and tzatziki sauce. |

Just me and the wife today, so smoking some wings and some meatballs.
Never smoked meatballs before, but found a recipe that sounds amazing. Ground beef, ground pork and ground BACON. Soak Panko breadcrumbs in bourbon. Glaze towards the end with Blues Hog. |

we do a complete thanksgiving dinner with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean caserole, chopped carrots, etc. for every super bowl.
Maybe one day it will actually be a celebration for the chiefs instead of a turkey to mourn another tom brady ****ing super bowl. |
