To further the IMAX experience, Star Trek Into Darkness used IMAX cameras to capture several sequences. Exclusively in IMAX theaters, sequences filmed with the extremely high-resolution cameras will expand to fill more of the screen with unprecedented crispness and clarity, putting moviegoers right into the explosive action and vast scope of the film.

Too bad you'd have to buy a ticket to a ****ing Hobbit movie to see it.

I'm not expecting much out of teh Hobbit but I'll probably end up seeing it. I'm a sucker for seeing movies in the theater.

The Hobbit is awesome. So was that Star Trek movie a few years ago.

damnit, why can't they release this footage in regular theaters too. I don't want to drive all the way to KC to have to see a preview.

Dude, the crossover between nerds who like The Hobbit and also like Star Trek is incredible.

This is not much of a money grab. It's more like throwing the fanboys a bone.

I will wait for the DVD, so I can pause it when I like.
