Of course, if you haven't checked out the band and album that's been in my avatar for the past 5 months, then you really should. Here is the music video (just a bunch of CGI nonesense, the song is the important thing) for the song "Beneath the Waves," from the album "01011001." Prepare to be blown away by the bad-ass singers (Jorn Lande, Daniel Gildenlow, Hansi Kursch, Steve Lee, just to name a few).

Bump

I have had an album of theirs for a couple years but never really listened to it until the last week or so. Very good stuff. Mix of Radiohead, PT, Riverside, Tool, etc. (i guess).

OK, OK, I'll check out Vampire Weekend. ;) In the last few weeks I've heard how good that CD is about 50 times. I guess I need to get it.

Yeah, I bought that immediately after seeing them open for Beck in KC. It is pretty good. The new one seems a little weird, but I haven't really given it a chance.

check out my solo project Mr. Slick & the Satellites...

I got tired of being in bands and having to rely on other people/ putting up with douchebag industry types, so i decided to lock myself in my laundry room and put together some experimental art rock concept albums where I could let my artistry be the main focus. I don't know of many people who could pull off doing entire albums by themselves like this... interesting to say the least. I recorded all of it with GarageBand on a Mac, played all the instruments and sang.. nobody touched the project but me. (influenced by the beatles, radiohead, science-fiction, and herb.) I dunno how active this thread is but I figured I'd throw it out there! Working on forming a band around it this year so I can play live and design crazy stage setups and just go crazy. Holler at it and let me know what ya think!

A Montreal Ukalalie jazz band covering Quiet Riot, Gnr, And Ozzy .....As a life long metal head I could cry,,,,as a musician I'm thinking ya know what?...Neat rendition of a song I hold as one of those teenage memories which brings me back to grade 9 in an instant....
Make your own conclusion.. I'm still trying to descide...Kinda like listening to Jimmy Buffett, only it aint him

BTW why they chose to dress all "Chilly Peppers" for the first video I dunno???
