I think 30 years from now, I will still be listening to Crimanl from the MM LP1, Superman, soldier, say goodbye to Hollywood, untitled.....those are just a few of my faves off the top of my head.

I'm sorry. I don't get how anyone could like the Eminem Show better than the Marshall Mathers LP.

Will definitely listen to this. I actually just "discovered" the Royce da 59 album they released a couple years ago. I like it so far.

I can't see it.

It's MMLP, then a significant drop to SSLP, then an enormous gap for the rest of his catalog.

I just don't think he has it in him to make another album like that. Artists are lucky if they make an album half that good once in their career. Doing is twice is not only ambitious, it's incredibly unlikely.

Pretty much this, but there were more than a few great songs on the SSLP that didn't get any attention at all.

MMLP was amazing from start to finish, but I can listen to and have an appreciation for almost every single song on SSLP.

Yeah I know it's not the popular opinion but it's close for me.

Sing for the moment, cleaning out my closet, soldier, without me, hailies song, superman, when the music stops, and til I collapse are all hits.

Soldier is my favorite, but he has a musical mountain of great songs.

Eminem is the GOAT

Deal with it~

Didnt the Marshall Mathers LP go diamond?

How many other hip hop albums have done that?

Don't get me wrong. SSLP is a fantastic album. It's so raw and very, very pivotal for the time it was released.

I really enjoy SSLP.

MMLP is just that much better. It's one of the best hip-hop albums of all time. I don't think that's really disputable.

I thought Recovery was a good album; definitely a step up from that shitfest he called Relapse.

Ill welcome anything Em does until he starts consistently putting out trash. He's one of the best rappers ever so I doubt that day will come.

Personally I like them all. MMLP is definitely my favorite though, and SSLP probably my least favorite now but liked it a lot when it first came out.

Em's always been one of my favs...but he hasnt been the same since The Eminem Show...

Marshall Mathers LP is my favorite definitely, followed by SSLP & then TES. Then it drops off considerably w/Encore, Relapse & Recovery...

While hes still one of the better rappers out there, I dont really like his Recovery era style of rapping where he's yelling & screaming a bunch of corny punchlines all the time, its definitely getting old.

Really hope he goes back to his MMLP style of rapping on this one...Wasnt really feelin the accents on Relapse either although theres some good songs on it (Beautiful, Stay Wide Awake, Same Song & Dance, Deja Vu)...

And Encore was just very mediocre with some terrible terrible songs on it.

But SSLP, MMLP, TES>>>>> Great trio of albums.

Yes, his problem is subject matter. He's too old to attack the young pop stars. He's been a recluse the last several years, and people are tired of hearing him rap about pills.

I really don't see how he could put something together that's even close to MMLP as an album.

Ahh, shit.

"Till I collapse I'm spilling these raps, long as you feel 'em til the day that I drop you'll never say that I'm not killin 'em. Cause when I am not then I'mma stop pinnin 'em and I am not hip hop- I'm just not Eminem!"

So much energy to that song. Play that bitch at the gym and I guarantee Ill throw weights through the roof.
