I couldn't resist. I watched it too. It was a good show. I appreciated that it didn't follow the comics 100%. I've read them all so there were no surprises, but it was nice to see the story in a different way. The pace at times seemed a bit slow, but it worked. Afterall, it is a zombie show! I have no complaints about the acting. The only slightly odd accent I heard was from the actorr that plays Shane. Morgan's character was so well done , sad that he won't be back on the show for quite awhie. He did a great job. The rifle scene was amazing. I'm hopeful that it's going to be a good show. I'm definitely stoked for the next episode.

I can't believe so many people gave in already. I just want to watch in in HD with my friends.

Believe me I plan on rewatching again in HD as well since the leaked copy on the internet wasn't anything special quality wise. It was a screener but not an HD one. HD can make shows like this look all the better.

That was a pretty damned good first episode. For the most part, straight out of the comics, right up until the tank. Really looking forward to this series.

Wow... that was awesome. Very well done pilot. You could really feel the anticipation and fear in several scenes. Well acted all around.

I'm pumped for this...

It's not often that I go into a show expecting it to be good and then having my expectations not met but exceeded. That was an amazing premiere episode. And while I am a science fiction and fantasy guy, I am not a horror or zombie guy. At all. But that was a hell of an hour and a half of drama.

That's what impressed me the most. The genre has not been known for great acting performances and so far this show's seem on par with some of the better HBO dramas.

yeah, i liked it...i hope they keep the same kind of slow tempo...
