Digital Music Distribution Companies
I know there are several musicians on here. I just finished recording a new album and I'm looking to put it out on spotify, itunes, amazon, etc. I've been researching cdbaby, distrokid & tunecore. (Those seem to be the best of the bunch) Does anyone have any experience with this?
I'm most interested in hearing opinions on Distrokid. They seem to be the best deal going & they're the fastest. However, they are also the newest & I can't find much information on them. I'd also be interested in any other suggestions I may not have considered. Thanks. |
How will you make sure that no fat people listen to your album?

I'd love to help, and should actually look into doing this myself,... but my label handled all of this. =(

Very cool. I actually enjoy learning how all of this works & doing on my own. |

We got a good deal through though the studio that we did some work at through CD Baby.
We paid extra for "3 day turnaround" and it didn't make it to us in time so they gave us a discount...and then it went to the wrong place so they gave us another discount. We wound up with a very good deal, plus we're on Spotify, iTunes and amazon/amazon.uk I can recommend CD Baby; even if something goes wrong, they'll make it right. |
