Looks good. Like that it's period. Maybe a little too stylized in terms of modern shots and edits but it's hard to tell with a trailer.

Yea, i like the 'period' setting as well. It feels like Cavill is trying to imitate Robert Vaughn too?

This might be a property thats a hard sell though......How many fans under age50 are there for it?

Ive personally never seen an episode.

I'm sure I've seen episodes but I don't remember it. I'll see it if it tests/reviews well.

Not sure how they managed to not make cavill evoke superman but it worked.

Heh. Been waiting for the next good thing from Guy Ritchie. Based on that trailer, I'd go see it.

This looks really, really good. Stylish, classy with some super cool action.

Yeah, I'm hoping to see it this weekend.

Was playing basketball last night with some post production guys from the movie. They said they've seen it - no joke - 35 times.

The word is that Armie Hammer is the best part of the movie. Henry Cavill is not surprisingly average.

Good flick. Started out like an ADHD squirrel and was a bit hard to figure out, but once it came into the main plot it worked well. I thought both Cavill and Hammer played their parts well.



I really felt the movie picked up steam and got better as it went along.

Guy Ritchie's movies tend to do that.

Yeah, I reminded myself he directed it and just sat back and rolled with it. :)

Really, really cool movie. Liked it a lot. Three leads were great, loved the music and the throwback but still modern style of production. Was a little more relaxed and I thought intelligent than your average summer flick without being pretentious, managed to sustain a good sense of energy without being the kind of adhd Michael Bay explosion fest that popcorn movies have turned into.

Unfortunately the theater was almost empty. It's just getting crushed by straight outta compton.

In any case, I was just thinking back over the other 2015 releases I've watched and this might be my favorite movie so far this year (and I've liked everything else I've seen....)

Interesting. It looks like it didn't do too well at the box office this weekend???? I wonder why?
