**** this would be terrible
|
Maybe that's what Peters was hinting at
|
No bueno.
|
Lol Lynch is done. Who cares?
|
He's over 30 and has been on the shelf for a year. Combined with Raiders culture... not worried.
|
If Lynch can stay healthy, I have little doubt that he will be good for Oakland with that line...

I think he took a pounding in Seattle, but a year away might have done his body a world of good. If he's been keeping up with his training and not sitting around pulling the inflatable rip cord on his ass, he could be a problem for us and the rest of the league if he went to the Raiders. |
So he didn't officially retire then? The first tweet makes it sound like Seattle still owns his rights.

How exactly is he an upgrade from what they have? Good things we brought in a good run stuffer.

I hope he does join them. I'm going to mock him mercilessly
|
So it appears Marcus Peters recruiting efforts backfired in a big way.

The "the shit is gonna hit the fan when Kramer hears about this" scene had me in tears. I asked my cousin to rewind that part maybe a dozen times. I laughed until I literally couldn't move. |

Report from Rotoworld says that Lynch asked the Seahawks to release him on Thursday.

Isn't Lynch from Oakland? Thought I read he grew up a Raider fan or worked at their stadium as a kid watching Raider games. Dudes got a SB and big bank. If he's really wanting to play again it makes sense it would be Oakland, he lives there etc. Might give them a hometown discount. He probably wants to wear that Raider uniform before he really retires. The Raiders just signed Cordelle Patterson and TE Jared Cook, they get Lynch and they'll be a top 3 offense. Scary good. Werent they like 5th overall last year?

They just filled two holes with one signing- It's not as dumb as some of us here washing Maclins balls when he signed- dude aint done shit |

The only guy to ever be able to reach 1,000 yards with Alex Smith, and he did it in 15 games. This year the guy was hurt mostly and targeted less with Hill and Kelce's surge. The Maclin hate is something that I really don't understand with CP. |

Raiders will probably win the division ..
Good for them I guess... **** |

Lynch has told the Raiders that he plans on un-retiring.
|
I think Lynch is visiting the Raiders today.
|
But can the Raiders beat the Chiefs with Lynch in the backfield?
|
I wonder what Marcus Peters' reaction will be when Eric Berry lays Lynch the **** out.

Who cares?
He turns 31 in a couple weeks. Let them sign Lynch and Peterson for all I care. |

He had already lost a step in his last year in Seattle. His ypc dropped nearly a full yard from the previous year and now he's a whole year older.
I'm not worried about Lynch running for 3.5 per carry. Adrian only averaged 1.9ypc last year. Unless either guy finds a time machine, I'm not even a little worried. |
Lynch is probably 270lbs by now.

I honestly have no idea if he's fat...but he strikes me as the type of athlete who will balloon up after his playing days are over.
I'm going off of my memory here so it could be wrong, but didn't Maurice Jones Drew blow up into a fatty? I could've swore I saw him on one of those awful NFL Network shows and I almost didn't recognize him. |

His former teammate Fred Taylor actually made a comment about it when being interviewed by MJD on NFLN. His reaction was hilarious. |

At best, he'll be as good as Latavius Murray was last year. I'm not even a little bit worried about a 31 yr old power back who took last year off and has been a space cadet his entire career coming back and making a difference. The Raiders may be better than we are, but Lynch will have little/nothing to do with it. He's not worth getting in a twist about in the slightest. |
Trade expected to happen. where in the world does oakland get all this money?

The Chiefs are forking out over 50 million for the same players. Reg McKenzie is severely underrated as a GM at this point in time. |

Still would rather draft one of the many RBs in this draft. |

I welcome this.
This is the type of moves bad front offices make. Oakland already has a very good team, stay the course, don't do anything that distracts you. You also have a draft that is loaded with RB talent. They are positioned to get one of the top backs in the draft if they want. Stupid move all around if you ask me. |

Raiders also want him to keep people in the stands since he is a hometown boy while they make the transition. I would like them to draft a rb but Lynch won't be carrying the whole load at RB for us next year anyway, we have 2 very talented scat backs that get alot of snaps |
