they done did it. messed it up i tell ya. have you noticed now when you hover the suggested icons, they are animated. no longer can you hover for a bigger text description of the video. it's just an animated smiley now.

it's actually a lil creepy too IMO :D

YouTube has so many issues right now and they just don't give a shit, especially for creators. I can go in right now and claim a bunch of vids are copyrighted and they'll be taken down for weeks.
There's a nut bag named Alex Mauer doing just that to hundreds of vids because she's bat shit insane. She was actually committed recently and YouTube hasn't done shit about it.

No, you're wrong. It has a little text description popup. WTF are you talking about? Do you use some kind of weird Australia YouTube? www.youtube.com.au?

I'm pretty sure this is the biggest problem content providers are facing at the moment...

maybe you don't update your youtube often enough. you may still be analogue. :D
