Yes for the simple fact that he left Marty and joined Elway to win 2 SB's....
the ultimate slap in Martys face. He gets my vote... |
HELL NO.
He shouldn't be in the Chiefs HOF either. WAKE UP, he's a DONK. |
No.Was a good player for the Chief's but not HOF quality. Still puzzled why Otis Taylor isn't in the HOF.
|
He's a HOF'er in my book.

Actually, I said no earlier, but I was using my definition of what a Hall of Famer is. I'd much rather have Neil Smith lining up at DE for me than Fred Dean or Jack Youngblood, and I think he's as good as Chris Doleman or Richard Dent.
|
The days when Neil and Derrick were reigning terror on opposing QBs were some of the greatest Chiefs memories.
I am not sure it is fair to blame Neil for the Chiefs deciding they couldn't afford to sign him, but the fact that he went to the Broncos is unforgivable. No. |
Quote:
I asked him at a golf tournament this plast fall if he considers himself a Chief or a Bronco, with the caveat that both isn't an option. Normally, the answer may be taken as a "I'll appease this guy because that's what he wants to hear" but one of my playing partners standing beside me was decked out in his Broncos gear. Great guy, but the answer to the original question is "not in my eyes" |
If you're going to leave KC as a FA, and you still want to be loved in KC, you DO NOT CHOOSE to play for Oakland or Denver. The End.
